Copenhagen: Apartamento landed in Copenhagen for three days immersed in design, where we came together to celebrate Can Lis, J\u00f8rn Utzon<\/a><\/em>\u2014our new book honoring the Pritzker Prize\u2013winning Danish architect\u2019s Mallorcan retreat, a home of quiet majesty, built as if sculpted from the island\u2019s cliffs.<\/b><\/p>\r\n The day unfolded with a conversation between photographer Simon Watson and Philipp Materna, head of brand and design at Ferm Living, moderated by Apartamento\u2019s editorial director, Robbie Whitehead, held at New Mags\u2014also home to Apartamento\u2019s bookshop pop-up, which ran throughout all three days, alongside our other pop-up at Other Circle. Each day, The Lab came alive with our free kids\u2019 workshop, where young minds explored the world of architecture through playful, hands-on sessions led by the artist Tal R. Dinner followed, served by chef Frederik Bille Brahe\u2014whose cookbooks, All The Stuff We Cooked<\/a><\/em> and Atelier September<\/a><\/em>, have long held a cherished place in the Apartamento family\u2014and prepared alongside the kitchens of Apollo Bar. The meal began with artichoke and tahini patatas bravas and ended on a lemon sorbet with basil ice cream inside fresh lemons.<\/b><\/p>\r\nTo accompany the book, Mar\u00eda Sosa Betancor\u2019s short film Can Lis, J\u00f8rn Utzon invites viewers to step into the house\u2019s sweeping stillness.
